Is XP just an OS for consumers buying ne

I have seen the new XP and have hardly seen any differences in it other than the fact that it is a little “flashier” that Win2000. To me it seems like it’s just a marketing ploy to keep the desktop looking pretty while taking up even more resources, putting even more money in Bill’s pocket. Anyone see this differently?
