ISP connections

I am trying to connect with a linux box to my ISP until I get DSL. My problem is my modem dials and connect but doesn’t seem to authenticate. The funny thing is I work for my ISP. I did find out that they use Radius-d for authentication. If I use debug mode to test it works fine. Is there a way to fix this????
