ISP-level Spam Solutions

I’m the new systems administrator of a small (approx. 3500 users) Internet Service Provider, and we’re looking for options for filtering spam before it gets through to our customers.

Does anybody out there have a good enterprise/ISP-level spam filter that they’ve been using? Cheap is preferable, but not necessary.
