I am 47 and think that I am too old to get back into the IT field. i did Gateway and Dell fee bse tech suport, university Network tech support even when I did not know half of what I kow now.
I have experienced the same problem of the entry-level query: They want someone who can set Active Directory, notice a node down on a WAN from a remote location. I provide free tech support on lione to keep my skills honed. Still no one will hire me. I hold two business degtress and a pc certifications, A+ and MCP working on the MCSE hopefully in security.
I am now washing dishes becasue no one will hire me. I look 32 though I am 47, I speak on the same level as anyone else and do not sound the half century mark. What to do?
