IT or IS Degree

Hello,

I am finishing up an Associates degree in Computer Technology and looking to peruse a bachelor?s degree in either Information Technology or Information Systems. I have been working as a network administrator for two years and my future goal is to turn this into a career. I am not entirely clear on the difference between IT and IS. I compared the two degrees as far as course content and still not sure which will more beneficial in my career. Could someone please try to explain the differences between IT and IS.
