IT/Telco Project Management in Australia

I have a BBA with MIS and about 10yrs in IT of which 5yrs were in PM. I’ll be migrating to Australai soon. How is the supply and demand for PM skills there? Are certs valuable? Which methodologies are most popular? Thanks.
