As a graduate in Information Systems and Management I have been dumbfounded as to where I want to apply and to how to get a foot in the door. I sort of enjoy networking but my real dream is in the application of data and what it can do for organisations.

I have had about 7 months experience as a network support, I enjoyed it but there was something missing. I didn’t have the chance to work with the data, the people and the processes in the organisation to help the organisation utilise its full potential (believe me it had BIG potential).

I really like the idea of ERP, DBMS type of roles but I am a JACK OF ALL TRADES I have spent years learning but know not too much about one specific subject. I have never took it apon my self to learn them to a point where I can say “I can do that” (any mean that I can churn out results without more training).

I have looked at job websites and I don’t know where to start. I want experience, but how do you get an entry-level (any job!) job in what I described above?
