job applications

Does any body know a program that is useful for filling out job applications? I am finding that many companies use idenical web forms across different companies. So far I have not found the traditional cut and paste to be reliable and I therefore find myself spending many needless hours filling out identical applications over and over. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
