While looking for a lost temp file when I found it – “KEYLOG” – hiding in and as Accessories,
(or C:\Program Files\Accessories\Temp5\Keylog). Along with a separate file for each paged opened, on my computer or the internet, with a snap shot of the page. Also there was a file listing every website I visited and a few other things too. I printed the keylog (all 59 pages), and as it is a continually open program the only way to delete it was to run windows in safe mode.
It had been running since June 19, 2004, and seems to have installed within minutes of my downloading a program? If it helps this little program has a huge byte – it was using nearly 2.5 Gigabytes when found. Anyone know of any other files or names this keylog invader has been found using – let the rest of us know.
