Networking with husband’s wireless Toshiba Satellite Lap Top, Pentium 4 CPU 3.06GHz, 3.07 GHz, 448 MB Ram SP2
Query -I want to get a lap top. IF I retire the Dell Dimension 4400 is there anyway to run the high speed cable unless one of the laptops is connected to the phone line at all times? Otherwise, how do you network? (Yes, I know…..that doesn’t make any sense to me either but there are all sorts of wonderful computer things that I wouldn’t have thought of if someone had not told me it was possible.)
AND UNRELATED – Can you advise me which forum to go on to learn about the different laptops or if there isn’t one then a web site?
