Laptop not booting & cannot found cmd prompt

Hi
I want to install XP in a Laptop. When i install laptop this doesn’t install fully.

So i used hdderase to erase the hard disk.

But I can’t able to go inside the command prompt using the bootable cd, to give the hdderase command.

I dont know what is the problem?
Cam amyone help me how to solve this probem?
