leaving army ! integration tips for IT

Greetings from Baghdad!!
i have been working as a signal system support specialist in the army for 4 years now, i am going to be residing in the canton/akron area in ohio. i have a lot of experience setting up networks in all types of terriable places and i hope to be doing the same work when i get out in feb 04. i have no certifications and im wondering where i should start, and if they are any good companys in my area, i am studying for my network+ but i would like to ask if there is more i should look at first. thanks in advance!
