Lenovo Laptop – 3000 C200 – Network Connection Problems

It seems as though my laptop can’t get an IP over wireless or ethernet and always just says “aquiring network address” wherever i go and try to connect wireless or cable, i have checked whether settings are right and they seem, everything is set to automatic settings.
