Lenovo Yoga 6

Hi
Hi

I’ve just bought a new Lenovo Yoga 6 laptop, which will arrive in a couple of days, and I’m planning on dual booting Windows and Linux (mainly so I don’t void the warranty by completely removing Windows).

I’ve used Arch as my daily on my previous laptop (a Lenovo V155-15API) for the last 2 and a bit years, and it’s been great. I’m posting here to ask if there are any extra things I should keep in mind running Linux on a Yoga laptop, including:

Yoga laptops are touchscreen – are there any desktop environments, window managers or even distros altogether which are best for touchscreens and ‘tablet mode’?

I plan on taking handwritten notes on my laptop, using a stylus with its touchscreen (not sure which stylus specifically as I’ve not ordered that yet). Is this possible on Linux? What drivers / software are required? (Previously, I have used an external graphics tablet, with the note taking software Xournal++.)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙂
