linked password protected excel 2007 worksheets

In Excel 2007 we create “feeder” worksheets which are saved with a password to prevent opening the file. These worksheets are linked to a “master” worksheet, the data source of which needs to be changed to one of the “feeder” worksheets. Excel 2007 requires the password to be re-entered repeatedly for every cell which is updated. Can this be resolved.
