Linux only sees the previous amount of R

I just recently upgraded my Linux box from 64MB to 256MB. The motherboard bios sees as 256MB, but Linux only sees 64MB. How do I trick or configure Linux so that it can see full 256MB RAM. The system is configured with Redhat 5.1.
