Locked out of my Win2000 Pro ! (Pswrd)

by roxanne_bcgirl . Updated 24 years, 3 months ago

I have a Windows 2000 Pro machine at my SOHO and in trying to setup a LAN I setup a system login password, I thought it was necesarry !? I mus have written down the incorrect password because wow this password does not seem to work and I am locked out of my own computer.. out of desparation i plugged the Win 2000 Pro Hard Drive to another computer as a primary slave H/D so I now have access to the (Win2000 pro C: – now is D;) drive using Windows Explorer on Win98 – how can I kill the password protected login by accessing the drive from windows explorer or any other means !?

Thank you for your help in advance ! ..

I would consider reinstalling a fresh system but I cannot locate the inbox.dbx and other outlook express files includingthe Wab file.. this is strange as I know were they normaly are, and a search does not come up this any results .. very strange ! How can I possibly find these Outlook Express files and transfer them to another drive ?

Thank you again in advance !

Venessa
