Login Process hangs on WM95sast.exe

I have 2 Win95 PC’s that hanging after login.
Pressing Ctrl-Alt-del shows wm95sast.exe running in the task list. If I end the task the login process completes as usual.
I removed the Novell client 3.1 and loged in using Microsofts client for netware, this worked fine. Reinstalled the Novell client 3.1 and the process hung.
According to Novell Mcafee A/V may be at fault so I uninstalled it, rebooted but no luck the login process hung.

Any ideas please let me know.
