Logon script

Does anybody know how to configure a logon script step by step, so that all my users will have the same mapped drive anywhere they log onto.

Here is my scenario:I have one server named server(Domain Controller) and another named
application(file server). I’d like to have the following mapping for all my users: \\application\d and let’s say i have 3 users: John, Sam and James.
Where do i exactely write the logon script? From the domain controller?
Do I need to logon as an administrator? Is it done from DOS or Active Directory Domain and Users? How to copy to each one of them then?
