Looking for an outstanding Samba HOWTO d

I am trying to figure out how to logon a windows 98 machine onto a Linux redhat 7.1 server box. From the research I have I am told Samba can do this. Does anyone know if this is correct and if so where an outstanding Samba HOWTO is?
