Mail Migration

Migrating from Exchange 5.0 & Outlook97 to Exchange 5.5 & Outlook98.

After the migration users lose everything they have configured in contacts. From the views and columns to custom fields etc
Is there a way of exporting contacts and retaining allof this info??
