Majors , Minors and Certifications

I am a senior communication and electronics student … My problem is that i do not know the minors i specialize in …. and what certification should i get to improve my knowledge and have a better chance to find a better carrer …. Can u help me with that ? … For Ex. if i want to get in the network field … will ccna and mcse be enough …if i want to get in the security field will S+ or EHC be enough .. what i should know to improve my mobile communication info. …. and so on
