I’m the training manager for a media asset management software company. Most of our clients are mid/large-sized companies. Our software is fairly complex and flexible; clients’ workflow processes also may alter to accommodate the new software. Therefore training sessions often involve much interactive discussion as to how to integrate the software into existing business processes and what, whether and how to change business processes to accommodate the new software. Since this process already occurs naturally during training, I’d like to prepare my department with relevant research or other information.
This, I suppose, is a type of change management, but I haven’t been able to find any resources appropriate to my situation.
Doesanyone have any relevant experiences or resources they’d like to share?
