I have installed Mandrake Linux 9.0 on my server, and am trying to connect a Win2K laptop. I checked the man files (being a newbie) and it showed the Network settings applet in the Control Center. I do not have this. It mentioned that Wizdrake had to be installed, but I cannot find this on any of the install disks. I input network settings in the “LinuxConf” app. Is this sufficient? I am still not able to get an IP address from the server though it appears that DHCP is running. I installed LinNeighborhood, and cannot browse to the laptop. I’ve even tried reinstalling Mandrake. Any suggestions would be appreciated (and rewarded).
