MCP vs MCSE

I am in tech school right now and have to choose between MCSE and MCP tracks for next year. I will be a paper cert either way. My long term goal is to work in a school setting and perhaps teach. This is a second career for me and I am doing it mainly because I enjoy it. Money is a secondary motivator. Should I go for MCSE just for the academic gain or will MCP do me just fine. I like the peoples connected to the computers too. Any advice?
