MCSA or MCSE ???

I have looked into obtaining an MCSA rather then an MCSE …but… it makes me pause and think if it is going to be worth it. MCSE is the defacto standard in which people in the Microsoft NOS are defined and it makes me think that petential employers may tend to overlook MCSA as a viable cert to look for.

Will MCSA be looked on as MCSE Lite?? After all the requirements necessary for MCSA are from the MCSE track. Is MCSA going to be a good mid-range thing to have or will it be a good excuse to offer less money to someone because it isn’t an MCSE?

Where will an MCSA fit where an MCSE cannot or vise-versa????
