MCSE Certification

I am contemplating enrolling in a 7 Month MCSE training program in January of 2002. I am new to all of this. I have been told I should obtain the training, and I have been told that It’s a waste of money.

I recently got laid off from my former job and want to start a new career.
I would appreciate any constructive input. Thank you in advance.
