Media player in Linux RHEL 4.0 is supported .dat file

I play a Movie on linux. but linux has not any .dat file movies player. so i did not see movie. please give me answer for this problem.

it is very hard beacuse i am try more player to play .dat file but it is not play. i download many player but it is not supported
