Merging domain

Our company acquired a new company and we want to merge that company to our domain.

Our company has
Win2k Active directory DC

Acquired company has
Win2k Active directory DC

We don’t want child domain, we want one domain. How do we merge domain, user accounts, groups etc. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
