Microsoft Exchange 5.5 Redundancy

We currently have an Exchange server running on an IBM Netfinity 5100 supporting approximately 1100 users. We use Cheyenne ArcServe to backup mailboxes but it isn’t always reliable. Are there solutions out there that will provide Exchange server redundancy in case of a hardware failure that won’t cause email downtime? If so what products are available?
