Microsoft to lay off 5000 employees despite still making 4.17 B profit

Now I am all for a company that is LOSING money to lay off employees. That’s business, that’s the nature of the beast. But for a company to lay off people because their profit margin is shrinking, That just plain…..disgusting.

People are paying these investors with their family security, their livelihood, their self esteem. How disgusting is this?

Am I the only one who thinks that Microsoft is going too far? Am I the only one who thinks that this stinks beyond belief and think that they should cancel the lay offs immediately?
