Microsoft Updates related query..

Q1)
If i were to uninstall my Microsoft Office 2007(using add and remove)on Vista SP1, would i still get updates for it, because theoretically, registry entries would still be there?

Q2)
Do updates for drivers of the computer also come through microsoft updates or do they get updated on their own?
