MIcrosoft Word 2003 “Send to” “Mail Recipient (As Attachment)” Feature.

When using this feature I can successfully attach the word doc to a new outlook email but as soon as I hit send outlook locks up. I have to manually close it. The email does in fact send but outlook still crashes or hangs for a long time. I believe the issue is with Spell Check because if i make sure the doc is perfect be for attaching it, outlook will not lock up. Does anyone have a solution for this type of issue?
