Microsoft Works Suite,Office in XP?

I read a article from some where that some of Words features would not work if I installed both of these programs. The problem is I like both and I want them both. Do ya blame me? I thought that if I just installed all of Office programs except for Word, that this could work. Since there already is the Works Suite 2003 installed. So what do the experts say?
