Migrate users to DHCP using script

I have about 400 users running 95/98/NT on our network. Majority are running static IP’s. We are looking to migrate all of them via a script to DHCP. I have seen nothing to this effect out there on the web. I have documentation I could give the enduser to let them do it manually, but we all know how well that works. Looking for other alternatives as well besides doing a manual sweep or relying on user to do it. Thanks
