Migrating from Exchange 5.5 to 2000

I am reading up on the migration path from 5.5 to 2000 and have to provide my general manager a path that I am going to take to get there. I was wondering if someone who has already done this could lend me a hand by either offering me their notes as they went along, or read what I’ve come up with…to make sure I’m going in the right direction? Both would be great, but I’m reaching for some general assistance, as this is my first major upgrade of this sort…
