Mini network at home.

I’ve a notebook with Win98 OS connecting to my desktop, which is under Win98 OS too. My new notebook is under WinXP. I used “client for microsoft network” to connect my computers, however, WinXP seems not use it. What can I do to link up my new notebook computer and desktop computer?
