Missing Outlook 2003 Macros after upgrading to Outlook 2007

Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3
Upgraded Office Pro 2003 to 2007.
I had some simple macros that I used to incert text into an open new email in outlook.
After the upgrade,in outlook 2007 I added the developer tab for new messages and the macro button is there but when I click on it for the list of macros it is blank. I can see the list in word when I hit the macro button but not in outlook.
