missing System.mdw

I have just uninstall access 2000, and then install access 2003 from MSDNA. However, after I’m done installing and when i went and try to create a blank database it say “Microsoft Office Access couldn’t find file C:\Document and Settings\computer name\….\System.mdw This file is require for startup” can some1 please help me fix this
