Modem Configuration in UNIX

Dear Sir,

I am using a UNIX ver 4.3 of SCO. I find it very difficult to configure a modem to access the internet. Pls explain the various procedures involved in configuring a modem to be used in UNIX Server. The modem is of Hayes make.
