Modem Issues under Mandrake 8.2

Currently I run Mandrake 8.2 on an IBM T21 Model 2647-4AU Laptop. This model laptop has a Combo Card (ethernet/modem). The NIC works fine but I am unable to get the system to detect the modem. Under control center the modem is listed as a Xircom with specs about the modem unknown. Does anyone have information about where I can get the drivers for this particular modem?
