My monitor aint working on my computer anymore, and here is what happened.
My sister has a computer with a scanner, and i wanted to plug in the scanner to scan my sketches for school. I accidently pulled out the Vga cabla. My monitor said “no signel”. But hell i couldn’t care less since you just have to plug it in to make it work again.
Well, it didn’t. I had to leave for school so i didn’t had time to fix it at that moment. Later when i came back and turned on my own computer and it worked perfectly, so i thought; Let’s check my monitor on my sister’s computer to check if its not broken”. It didn’t work so i wentback to my room with my monitor.. AND here it happened.
From this very moment my monitor function on my computer stopped as well as on my sister’s computer. So now we got 2 computers that cant work with monitors atm . Its really strange since my sister’s computer was mine and i always changed the vga cable before while they were both running.
both computers still function perfect, with hotkeys i can still manage to start programs while i cant see them. For example, music. I cant get into my bios eithes because its basicly not showing anything else than.
So i went to my neighbour to check out the monitors. But they function perfect there. But their computer doesn’t require a vga to dgi while my sister’s comp and mine do. But i got 3 of those parts, and all tested them on my vga cable without any succes.
what i find strange that is that after i plugged my own monitor in my sister’s computer that i started to get the same problem as her on my own computer. How is this possible? Monitors cant memorize stuff right? For example, virus or settings that disable anything. I’m tottaly clueles, already resetted the bios. Atm i’m desperate since i work alot with my computer. Whole adobe package and stuff, wich i need for my Study.
Quick Summary:
So after my sister’s comp stopt working with the monitors i tested my own monitor on it but my monitor didn’t work on it either, AND after that it stopt working on my computer as well. Help !
