Greetings all.
Currently, we are running SCO Unix OpenServer5.06.
We have a package called DoubleVision, that allows you to see and take over someones telnet session.
It is not a spying tool, as we specifically set it to beep at the users end so they KNOW someone is looking at the screen. We use it in case someone doesn’t know how to do a function, we can log into their screen and walk through the functions. (Many of the users are a few hours away). Another use is if someone is in somewhere critical, and we need to take the system down for an update and they have left themselves logged in and walked away. (I know, I know) We can shut down what they were in orderly and not corrupt the data.
Here is the problem. We are migrating to SuSE SLES10 and DoubleVision is not supported.
Is there a package you use to log into someone elses screen to take control?
Thanks “all y’all!” B-)
