Moving NT Server 4 to a new server

I am in the process of replacing my current NT server. Since NT is so hardware specific, does anyone have any suggestions for a smooth transition? The existing server is a Compaq, the replacement is a Dell PowerEdge. Also running Exchange 5.5.
