Moving profiles from XP to Windows 7

As XP end of life computers are replaced by Windows 7, what issues can we expect to encounter when moving user profiles (files, email, favorites, etc) to the new operating system? What else to check for? 1) printer drivers, 2) user applications compatibility… what else?
