Moving SMS 2.0 to a new server

Hi!
Does anyone has an idea on how to move SMS 2.0 to a new server. SMS is not that user friendly when you uninstall it and it leaves all client computers sms config running, then when you install a new sms server the clients won’t get the new configuration because they are still trying to “talk” to the old server. I would like sms to uninstall the sms client from all computers on the network before performing the uninstallation. Any ideas??
