Moving up the IT ladder

Greetings All,

My question is how did some of you guys move up the IT ladder. I have been doing helpdesk work for about 3 and a half years now and I feel I am ready to take the next step. I currently have my A+, Network+, CCNA, and MCP (Windows XP Pro) certifications and I am currently working towards the MCSA or MSCE. I would love to get more into networking and get a job as a junior network administrator or something in that area. I am just looking any advice as to how to make that climb.
