I just purchased a 4G Mp3 player. I can not get my computer to recognize
the player. I have tried to download a driver and the driver wizard says it
is working. However when I plug into any USB port the box comes up and says
it doesn’t recognize the player. The player is working as I can listen to
the two song it came with. I cant download new ones because I cant get the computer to
see the player. I have windows XP and when I do an auto driver download on
the mini cd that came with the unit I get so many options I don’t know which to choose. The
instructions are not well translated into English and are very small. I have tried the auto search from the control panel by clicking on the usb location and it tells me the currant driver is the one to use. I’m no computer genius and it seems to me that could standardize these thing so there weren’t problems like this. The person I got it from apparently is no genius either as he said to send it back but he’s in China. I guess a good deal isn’t a good one after all. Please help
