I have a Novell 3.12 server that stores and ms-access database (access 97) used by 4 users with different OS on each workstation: (2)win95,(1) win98 and (1)win NT on the last PC. Those 4 users used to share that database and were able to access it at the same time. 2 weeks ago I upgraded those pc’s to MS-access 2000 and since then only one user can connect and save at any given time. If another user try to connect to that database he/she gets an error message stating that:” Exclusive access to the database could not be obtain…etc”. All 4 users have full permission to this particular shared folder on the network drive. I’ve tried to review all the rights and priviledges and everything seems to be fine but still no more than 1 user can get access to that share folder at any given time. The first user to get access locks out the others.
Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
