I am running XP with office 2003 on a Macbook using Boot Camp. I specifically wanted to install Windows because I had a copy of Office for Windows and I am learning to write VBA code. But now that I’m trying it out, I realize my Mac keyboard is missing one of the most important keys (at least for a programming beginner apt to create infinite loops) – the break key which I would use (ctrl+break) to stop code execution.
I tried remapkay.exe, but I don’t see a way to add it that way. The Boot Camp keyboard help says that Fn+Esc will do a Pause/Break, which means that Ctrl+Fn+Esc should be what I want, but neither that nor any other combination I can find will work.
Does anyone know either how to set up the mac keyboard to simulate the break key or how to configure office to accept another keyboard shortcut instead?
